Tinubu has the power to challenge the president – Olusegun Osoba
The head of the Congress of All Progressives, Olusegun Osoba, said that former Governor of Lagos State Bola Tinubu has the right to run for president in 2023.
“Asivaju Bola Tinubu as a person has the right to speak, we did not focus on one person. Focusing on any person will ruin our efforts now, but Asivaju Bola Tinubu has the right to follow his plans, ”he said.
Ogun, who is also the former governor of Ogun State, made a televised appearance on Tuesday.
He said the Southwest must unite and form a headquarters to succeed in the upcoming presidential elections.
According to him, there is a gentlemen’s agreement in the APC that the South will nominate the President of Nigeria in 2023.
However, the head of the APC noted that while “there is so much noise in the east,” no one has contacted him or other party leaders to express interest in running for president in 2023.
“As a party elder, no one from the southeast contacted me or consulted with me about lobbying, even to say that I was interested,” Osoba said.
