Tinubu: Rescue Of Kankara Schoolboys Announced By PMB
National Leader of the All-Progressive Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu congratulated President Muhammad Bukhari for what he called “his immediate intervention” in rescuing more than 344 kidnapped students from Kankara State Science High School. in the state of Katsin.

Tinubu also thanked the Governor of Katsina State Amina Bello Masari and the military for their tireless work to free the students.
In a statement released yesterday to reporters, Tinubu said the quick release of the schoolchildren from their kidnappers required the president to work tirelessly to rid the country of insecurity and to watch the backs of bandits and rebels in the country.
“The initial kidnapping of more than 300 Kankara schoolchildren from a dormitory in broad daylight has caused alarm and grave concern. However, their first aid from kidnappers is getting warmer.
“Declare President Bukhari’s relentless commitment and determination to rid the country of insecurity and to confront Boko Haram rebels and bandits operating in parts of the country.
I congratulate and congratulate the President on his timely and decisive speech. I also have to congratulate Governor of Katsina State Amina Bello Masari and the soldiers of our military for bringing the boys home.
“This commendable effort must continue. We must all do more to confront the wicked and see the backs of the rebels and bandits of Boko Haram.
“We need to modernize our security infrastructure and rethink our strategies. The military itself must renew its efforts to make not only our schools safe for students, but also our cities and villages. No development can take place in an atmosphere of fear, uncertainty and insecurity of life and property.
“I identify with the desperate parents and relatives of the kidnapped schoolchildren and I rejoice with them that their children have escaped from the jaws of the kidnappers. Now these children must be reunited with their families, ”he added.
