TUC’s Chica Onuegbu is dead

National Vice President of the Trade Union Congress, TUC, Chica Onuegbu is dead.

He died today in Port Harcourt after a short but unknown illness.

Chica Onuegbu was the immediate former president of TUC in Rivers State from December 2012 to July 2016.

From May 2011 to June 2014, he also served as National Industrial Relations Specialist of the Nigerian Senior Oil and Natural Gas Officers Association, PENGASSAN.

Mr. Onuegbu has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) with over 22 years of qualifying experience after ICAN and CITN.

Until her death, Chica Onuegbu played a very active role in dealing with labor issues in Rivers State and the country.
