Two suspects arrested in the murder of two men in Plateau state
The two men, named Abdulmumuni and Mohammed Sani, were arrested by Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) officials on charges of alleged involvement in the recent murder in the Miango community in the Bassa local government area of Plateau state.

As a reminder, suspected Fulani militias ambushed and killed two indigenous residents of the Miango community, Rafael Bawa and Mabo Aga, on February 2, 2021.
OPSH commander Major General Chukwuemeka Okonkwo, who fielded the suspects along with others on Friday, said an investigation is still ongoing to determine their involvement in the murder.
“In response to the incident, OPS troops arrested two suspects, Abdulmumuni and Mohammed Sani, who had a gun and $ 190,000 in cash in a market near Miango. When asked, they could not explain how they got the money and weapons, ”he said.
