Umahi and others queued up for George Obiozor, the new president of Ohanaese Ndigbo

Professor George Obiozor, a former Nigerian ambassador to the United States, has become the new general president of the leading Igbo sociocultural group, Ohanaese Ndigbo.

IgbereTV reports that Professor George Obiosor received 304 votes to defeat two other rivals and win elections at Dan Anyama Stadium in Owerri, the capital of Imo State, on Sunday.
