University of Ibadan Confirms Obaseki Graduated from Institute

The University of Ibadan (UI) has confirmed that Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki graduated in 1979 with a second grade (lower division), IgbereTV reported.

This was confirmed in a statement by the rector of the university, Ms. Olubunmi Faluyi, who said that Godwin Nogeghase Obaseki studied the classics.

The statement also says that the governor entered the university in 1976.

“The records of his admission and graduation remained intact in the archives of the university.” the statement says. “
