WAEC Announces When To Release SSSCE Results For 2020
Applicants who pass the 2020 High School Diploma Exam will be posted next week.
This was stated by the West African Examination Board on its Twitter page.
The results were due to be released today, but the oversight body said the delay was caused by violence and arson in the country, which affected some of its offices and some of its nationwide operations.
Riots following the #EndSARS protests against police brutality have forced governments to impose curfews in their states.
“WASSCE SC 2020 Results Publication Date: Dear Applicants, The Board planned to publish the results today in pursuance of our Project 45, but due to the curfew imposed last week, it had to be postponed to the next week.
“The exact date will be announced shortly,” @waecnigeria tweeted Wednesday.
