We remain optimistic about the rescue of the remaining Chibok girls
Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum said his administration remains optimistic about the rescue of Chiboka’s remaining female students held captive by Boko Haram.

Zulum, speaking Friday on Politics TV, said this when answering questions about the state of security in the northeastern state.
It has been six years since Boko Haram abducted more than 200 girls from their high school in Chibok City.
Although many of them were saved and many others fled, many still remain in captivity.
When asked if the government had lost hope of saving the girls, Zulum replied: “Not at all.”
“We are still optimistic,” he added.
