We’ll teach Umaha a lesson – PDP

Ebony State People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees Chairman Fred Udogu said Sunday that the party will soon remove Gov. David Umaha’s name from its original membership list.

The acting president, who stressed that the governor would not be returned to the party if he thought about a U-turn, said the NDP had the worst experience under a government led by Umaha.

We will remind, at the end of last year, the governor of Umakhi changed PDP to APC.

He explained that the process of permanent exclusion of the governor’s name from the list of registered PDP members will begin soon.

“Nobody has the right to simultaneously belong to two political parties. Very soon we will call the party register, where we will remove his name as a member of the PDP, because he is not our member and will never be there.

“He did not leave the NDP. He only verbally resigned and announced his membership in APC, but we will teach him how to properly declare a new party.

“Again, there was no PDP under Dave Umaha.

“Dave left PDP back in 2017 and PDP owners and leaders across the country are aware of this.

“That’s why he wants to cross his legs on the PDP and stay at APC, and we said no,” he added.

Umahi has previously stated that he has officially registered with his branch in Uburu, the Oganzara local government area of the state, as a member of the APC ruling of November 10, 2020.
