The couple tied the knot on a bicycle outside the wedding venue.
The incident took place in Makeni, Sierra Leone, when country cyclist Isata Sama Mondeh decided to move in with her lover.
The ceremony, which has been celebrated by many cyclists in Sierra Leone, has now become a topic of discussion on social media, as couples and friends chose bicycles over regular cars, according to Sierraloaded. Isata Sama Mondeh, the fastest cyclist in Sierra Leone, is also the first female bike mechanic in Sierra Leone.
Isata is also the first female bike mechanic to own a bike shop for the number of cyclists she supervises. Isata participated in the Tour de Lunsar, where she won first place in the women’s category. In Sierra Leone’s first mechanical women, she breaks stereotypes and does her best to create a business that can support her and her family.
He uses his experience convincingly as evidence when talking to girls, families and community members, and speaks directly to traditional cultural views.
